Tuesday update!

We had a busy weekend here, wasn't planned to be that way, but of course when we have no plans we start painting. It started with painting just over the fireplace so i could put up my uppercase living, then proceeded to paint the entire living room, its about the same color that was in texas, i will post a link to my facebook album with some new pics of the house on it (it takes too long to upload them to here). All the landscaping is done too. I of course spent most of saturday night doing homework, i ask myself everytime why the heck i am doing this??? Sunday was pretty uneventful, Jas mowed and built a bridge for the girls' swingset, me and the girls played outside and sat on a blanket and read a million books.

Disney is less than 4 weeks away and we are very ready for vacation, anything to get us out of Terre Haute for a few days. We are having Addison's birthday pics taken this weekend, she's pretty excited. She had her 3 year checkup yesterday and is still my little peanut at 28lbs and 37inches tall, those stats put her though in the 48%tile for her age. Doctor is going to look at her growth chart to make sure she's fine. We know she is but i guess being a new patient he wants to make sure.


Forgot to mention, last weekend we took the girls to the fair for the rodeo, they only made it the first hour and a half but thought it was so cool, and of course we had to indulge in fair food and rides.

Water Park and Sullivan County Fair-with VIDEO

Tuesdays as you know are tumbling days, the girls' favorite day of the week, but this Tuesday was even more special, the girls were performing at the Sullivan County Fair, they were very excited, we thought at least one of them would get stage fright, but no way they were fine. I am uploading a couple videos of their performances, Addison did wheels on the bus and Alivia did grand old flag. I do have video of both of them, but having issues with it, so pics will have to do for now.

Last weekend Jas worked all day Saturday, so took sunday and monday off. Sunday we headed to Plainfield, IN which is about 20 minutes from Indianapolis, they have an awesome waterpark there at their community rec center. Since this terrific town of Terre Haute (insert EXTREME sarcasm) has no nice pool, we drove the hour to see this one. It even had a sand area, guess its the closet thing to the "beach" we'll find in Indiana.

Monday, Jas and the girls headed to the quarry to get rock for the backyard landscaping, and i am happy to say its FINISHED!! I'll hopefully get pics of that soon. We still have to do around the patio but ran out of rock so will finish that small area up this weekend. Jas took us girls out for a "fancy" supper (as Liv calls it), the girls of course picked Texas Roadhouse, i guess they have taken the love of that resturant from their parents. The neighbors pool is now finished so we took a quick dip when we got home.

I'll work on those videos and will hopefully figure them out, they are WAY cute.

Hello-

Here is a start of pics from our weekend.

Haven't blogged in the last week, we've been very busy. We went to see my sister Courtney in Springfield, MO over the holiday weekend. Left thursday night, drove 6 hours and got there late. She just bought a new house so mom and jim were there also. Friday we went and saw where she worked and started on the house. On the fourth we went over to the Bass Pro (the company headquarters is there) did a little shopping and then celebrated mom's birthday, I have a ton of pics, i'll post a few here. As you can see, we also stopped at the Arch in St louis on the way home, we wanted to go up in it, but the line was almost 3 hours long, so we opted to save that for another day, we got some cool pics, not sure how good they'll look on here. This week we are hoping to finish the landscaping around the south and backside of the house and patio. I did get the half bath all painted yesterday also.

Oh and i am also back to the lovely world of school this week.These 2 classes are gonna be interesting (hence the sarcasm) Legal and Ethical Environment of Business and Virtual Marketing. lots of fun huh? The girls will be performing at the Sullivan County fair next tuesday with their tumbling class and they are super excited, i'll make sure to take lots of pics. That's it for now, its almost midnight, hopefully i can get some time to update a little more this weekend!
