I am starting this new blog for several reasons. Msn seems to be a little out of date compared to the newer blog webpages, so i am trying to do a little update with layouts and features. Another reason is me and Jas both feel people are trying to only keep up with us and the girls through our website and really have no other involvement in our lives, they act like they know who we all are or how we are doing by only reading the updates about our lives. We just don't like that, the other webpage is completely open to the public, which i set up that way for the ease of family members so they didn't have to login to see pics and read about our adventures. That's the other part we don't like, we don't have a clue who's looking at the page, who is possibly taking pics off of it.
We sort of live by this saying these days "Don't make those a priority whom are only making you an option" We will no longer be walked all over when we put effort into our many relationships around the US. For those of you who are generally interested in our daily lives, thank you so much. For the rest of you........nevermind!
I am slowly working through blogger to get pics and everything up here, i will keep the other website going for a little while but probably won't be updating it much.
Jason is staying very busy at work with lots of projects. Of course we also have so many projects at home to do too. We painted quite a bit last week while the girls were in Iowa for the week, we still have so much to do, but are on painting strike for the moment so we can enjoy this so called "summer" I have been swamped with 3 classes the last 5 weeks, none of which are interesting or easy. Ethics, macroeconomics and professional writing, i am spending so much time doing schoolwork i have no time for anything else, maybe its time to hire a maid??? I'll never take this many again.
Alivia is adjusting much better to life in Indiana. We had a struggle for a couple months but it seems to be getting better. She really enjoys tumbling and is her higlight of the week. She's taken a huge interest in helping Jas with everything, building, painting, organizing, mowing the yard etc... She is really a daddy's girl.
Addison is testing our every limit almost everyday. She is going to give us a run for our money. She is way more stubborn than Alivia ever was, wondering where that came from=) She has grown up so much over the last few months and we can't believe she'll be 3 in 2 weeks. Her vocabulary and imagination has exploded, she seems older than she is. She is "playing mommy" almost everyday and has been very lovey to the dog and all her babies. Now if only we could get her to be lovey to Alivia and vice versa, we would be set.
We are very anxious for the Disney trip, the girls are saving every penny they find so they can buy stuff while we are there, we'll probably end up having to bring another suitcase home with us. We aren't quite sure of our July 4th plans yet, Jason has the friday before off, we may be heading back to Iowa or maybe to Missouri to see my sister, or heck we could be sitting right here also.
I am so sick of rain here i could puke, that's all it ever does, i just want a few days a week of warm weather and sun, so we can go to the pool. Looking at the Corpus Christi weather today there was a high of 94 but felt like 106 with the humidity. Oh wow i miss that!
I am hoping to find the time to really get on updating this every week, i trully appreciate those of you who do read about us and care enough to show us!!
