YAY!!

We got an offer on the house today and after 5 hours of negotiations, the house is SOLD!!! Such huge weight has been lifted, knowing we won't be making a mortgage payment and a rent payment.

We also put a deposit down on a townhouse today on Padre Island (part of Corpus Christi) its in the school district we want cause its the best. Its a townhouse with 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 2 car garage, fenced in back yard and the best part is its 3 blocks to the beach! Should be perfect, we had a friend scope it out for us last night to make sure it was a good idea.

We are leaving a week from Sunday, yes it was moved up due to Jas being "released of his duties" at ADM just 2 days after putting in his notice, so we are headed down a week earlier. I am about 70% packed, and now since the house is sold, I can finish it up early in the week. My family is all coming next weekend to load us up and we are taking off Sunday morning and should be arriving in Corpus Monday afternoon!!

Gosh this has all gone so fast since we finally got the news about the job, that was just 8 days ago, and we are leaving in 8 days!! Record for fastest move for us!
